It is good to be able to go back to a place, point at a tile installation and say "We installed this 10, 15, 20 years ago". Not many items in a home can last as long as stone, porcelain or ceramic. Part of the reason we like tile so much is because it feels permanent. We use high quality mortars, grouts, trowels, saws, everything.. so that the work we install will last as long as possible. That gives us pride.
Our Company Origins
Hi there! This is Christopher of Kubik House, your local premier installer of Gauged Porcelain Tile Panels, or Super Format tile. We are based 2 miles from downtown Cincinnati and service all of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
We specialize in installing Gauged Porcelain Tile, which are slabs of porcelain that are clones of the most rare and exotic stone on earth. Choosing Gauged Porcelain Tile, exacts the benefit of much lower cost and none of the maintenance needed for natural stone. We believe they are a timeless and beautiful material that will greatly increase the experience of any room.
Just a quick background about how Kubik House got started. In 2007, I took a job with a remodeler in Independence Kentucky. We installed all kinds of projects from replacing all of the decks on a condominium neighborhood, home additions, roofs, and home repairs. There was one client of his who owned several Subway restaurant franchises in Cincinnati and we were hired to install their store remodels. This involved a lot of tile. I had no idea what I was doing back then but my boss had a lot of patience with me.
In 2019, I left the nonprofit field of 9 years to start a remodeling team. We have installed over 100 kitchens and bathrooms since then. After doing interior remodeling for some time, I decided that in order to grow the quality of work to the level I would like, it would be best if we focused in on a trade. Our team had always enjoyed setting tile and growing our knowledge of the trade so the decision came naturally to choose “setting tile” over being a full scope remodeler.
